Our client, a recognised market leader within the Life Insurance sector, is looking for a Group Life Claims Assessor to join their busy and growing team.
 
The roles represent a perfect opportunity for a Group Life Claims Assessor with strong produ ct knowledge and excellent claims management skills developed over a minimum of one year to take the next step in their impressive career, taking the chance to develop their skills within one of the most respected life insurers in Australia, proven by the many awards the company has won.
 
Reporting to the Team Leader, the role offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to be responsible for a small portfolio of claims, while being an important part of a team and company known for its excellent claims and customer service philosophy, working on a major industry fund.  The role is varied in its tasks and offers the chance of long-term development and excellent career development and training through the size of the business and a reputation for internal promotion.
 
Ideally, you will benefit from:
 
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of claims, from start to finish, effectively and independently within the Group Life area.  (Retail experience of interest)
  • GSC, TPD, Trauma and Death Claims experience over a minimum of 1 year.
  • Related tertiary qualifications or relevant sector qualifications highly regarded.
  • Strong technical Workers Compensation / CTP backgrounds with tertiary Allied Health qualifications or highly competent Group Fund Administrators are of interest.
